Movie Update

Well I provided a music update so why not a movie update?
To start off we have a new pic of the web-slinging superhero SPIDEY!!!

Be sure to check out the trailer provided in the previous movie post.

Following the superhero theme we have:

Thats right Fantastic Four 2, hmmm sounds funny. Anyways the first film wasn't that great but was OK. This one has Silver Surfer so I'm immediately interested...oh and btw it also has Jessica Alba in the film so there's another reason to watch out for this.

Next there is a new trailer for Smokin' Aces which just looks sick! 'Cos i'm so kind just click right HERE to see what the fuss is about.

Another film, not so much a hollywood blockbuster like the others but this one features Simon Pegg and Nick Frost who you might've seen in Shaun of The Dead. This looks pretty funny, take a LOOK for yourself!

Finally a pic from the new Transformers movie. You can see singer/rapper Tyrese or Black Ty as he also likes to be known as, running for his life:

Musiq!...Again

It's been a while since I last posted anything music related so here's an update.

Firstly it seems that Bobby Valentino's album Special Occasion has been pushed back yet again. It's now scheduled for a release early next year which is a shame 'cos most of the album is already available in the right places if you know what I mean. Having heard alot of his new material i can say that his style remains very much intact which is a good thing and a bad thing. It's good cos it sounds a lot like his first album which I liked but then again it doesn't show much progression as an artist. A true example would be someone like John Legend who came with a new sound for his sophomore release Once Again.

Jeezy's back with the follow up to Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. The new album titled The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 is more of the same. I've given it a quick scan through and it sounds very similar to the first album. I won't lie, i'm more into my R&B rather than hip-hop/rap so i cant give a detailed review on this. I'd say i like the first album better but then saying that i only really liked 3 or 4 tracks on that album which doesn't say much about this album. Here's the video to his latest song I Luv It

Darien Brockington - Someone To Love. An underground artist that brings something fresh. This album is filled with R&B and has some really good tracks on it, my personal favourites are Don't Say Goodbye and More And More. Check it out if you have the chance.

My last album review is Ciara's new album The Evolution. The album is pretty solid from what I'e heard so far and alot better than her first in my opinion. She brings her usual sounds hooking up with Lil' Jon & DarkChild and the likes to produce the club bangers but then also puts in a few slow jams like her lead single Promise (watch the video above). Tracks that stand out for me so far are Make It Last Forever and Can't Leave 'Em which features 50 Cent.

Even after playing Lloyd's latest song for over a month now I'm still not sick of it yet check out the video
As well as that I'm still listening to Black Republican by Nas and Jigga. Anyways as for new tunes, this is what I'm bopping my head to this week:

  • Lil' Wayne - I Gotcha
  • Megan Rochelle - Heartbreak
  • Chris Brown - Poppin' [Remix]
